Police in Scranton, Pennsylvania, apprehended an armed robber who was caught thanks to a quick-thinking pharmacist.  Dannie Bradford, 35, is now facing a number of robbery, drug, and assault charges.

According to police, Bradford, who was armed with a gun, entered CVS shortly after midnight and demanded Adderall from the pharmacist. Bradford made off with nearly $3,000 worth of Adderall and, thanks to the quick-witted pharmacist, a GPS tracking device.

Along with the prescription drug, the pharmacist put a fake bottle of Oxycotin in with the loot. The bottle was in fact an anti-theft GPS device and police were able to track the thief as he fled the store, taking him into custody a short time later.
